1.1 Laundry Management
- Laundry Oversight: Ensure all rental dresses are professionally cleaned, steamed, and repaired as necessary before they are made available for clients.
- Quality Control: Inspect all garments before and after laundry to ensure they are in optimal condition. Report any damage or discrepancies to management for immediate action.
- Laundry Coordination: Coordinate with external laundry services or in-house laundry staff to ensure timely cleaning and return of dresses.
- Laundry Scheduling: Manage laundry schedules to ensure dresses are ready for client rentals or fittings as per the schedule.
1.2 Inventory Control
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of the bridal and evening dress inventory, including new arrivals and returns.
- Stocking and Sorting: Ensure that all rental dresses are stored and sorted in the correct location and according to size, type, or category for easy retrieval.
- Inventory Audits: Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure the system matches the physical stock and identify any discrepancies or losses.
- Barcode/Tagging System: Implement and maintain a barcode or tagging system for all dresses and accessories to facilitate easy tracking and rental management.
- Restocking and Returns: Track returned dresses, inspect them for damages, and ensure they are properly processed for cleaning and re-rental.
- Lost or Damaged Dresses: Maintain a record of lost, damaged, or missing dresses, and assist management in taking necessary steps to repair or replace them.
1.3 Coordination with Other Departments
- Sales and Alterations Coordination: Work closely with the Bridal Department Manager, Sales Associates, and Alterations Department to ensure that dresses are cleaned, available, and prepared for client fittings, rentals, or pick-ups.
- Timely Delivery: Ensure that dresses are ready for client fittings and pickups in a timely manner, especially during high season periods when demand is high.
- Special Requests: Coordinate with the sales team and alterations team for any special requests or last-minute changes to dress availability or preparation.
