About the Role
We are seeking an experienced React Native / Expo Developer to lead the development of high-quality, scalable mobile applications with embedded AI capabilities. In this role, you will bridge the gap between core mobile engineering and modern AI technologies, building intuitive mobile interfaces powered by intelligent backend services and AI-driven features.
Responsibilities:
- Mobile Engineering: Architect, build, and maintain high-performing, cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and Expo.
- AI Feature Integration: Implement hands-on AI capabilities, integrating LLM APIs, on-device/cloud AI models, and intelligent workflows into mobile applications.
- Scalable Architecture: Design clean, scalable, and modular codebases optimized for performance, security, and low latency across iOS and Android.
- AI-Powered Development: Utilize modern AI development tools and workflows to optimize code quality, testing, and iteration speed.
- Feature Execution: Work closely with product stakeholders to translate requirements into fluid user experiences and robust technical features.
Qualifications:
- React Native & Expo Mastery: Strong hands-on experience building, deploying, and maintaining production-grade applications using React Native and the Expo framework.
- AI Competency: Demonstrated experience working with AI concepts, LLM integration (e.g., OpenAI APIs, Anthropic, LangChain, vector DBs), and AI-assisted development tools.
- Mobile Best Practices: Deep understanding of mobile state management, native module integration, API communication, and app performance optimization.
- Software Engineering Fundamentals: Solid foundation in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, async programming, and scalable application architecture.
- Delivery & Quality Focus: Proven track record of delivering clean, well-tested code in fast-paced environments.
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Experience building edge AI features or local model integrations on mobile.
- Background in UI/UX design integration and performance monitoring for mobile apps.
