Aldebaran Law Firm is seeking a senior lawyer to join its Corporate and Commercial practice, with a mandate that extends to contentious matters. The successful candidate will advise on complex transactions and represent clients in commercial disputes before the Lebanese courts and in arbitration.
THE ROLE
▪️ Lead corporate and commercial mandates from inception through closing, including M&A, corporate structuring, joint ventures, shareholders' arrangements and corporate governanc
e▪️ Draft, review and negotiate high-value commercial agreemen
ts▪️ Conduct and manage commercial litigation and arbitration, including pleadings, strategy, and court and tribunal appearan
ces▪️ Act as a principal point of contact for clients and senior management, and coordinate with co-counsel and other advi
sers▪️ Supervise other la
wyers
THE CAND
IDATE▪️ Admitted to the Beirut Bar, with 12 to 15 years of post-qualification expe
rience▪️ Experience gained at a reputable law firm; exposure to banking and financial institutions work is highly
valued▪️ Proven track record in both transactional work and commercial li
tigation▪️ Exceptional drafting and advocacy skills, and sound commercial
judgment▪️ Ability to work independently on complex, multi-jurisdiction
al matters▪️ Fluent in Arabic and English; French is a stron
g advantage▪️ USJ gradua
te preferred
