Role Description The Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Shoueifat. The individual in this role will handle daily accounting operations, including recording journal entries, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling bank statements. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing invoices, tracking payments, and ensuring accurate documentation of financial transactions. The Accountant will assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, support the preparation of financial reports, and help ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant financial regulations. The role may also involve coordinating with internal teams and external partners, supporting audits, and contributing to process improvements in the finance function.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
* Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and expense tracking.
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and financial templates.
* Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CPA or equivalent) are an advantage.
* Prior experience in the food, manufacturing, or distribution sectors is a plus.
