Role Description The Executive Chef is a full-time, on-site role based in Lebanon, responsible for leading all kitchen operations and culinary activities. Daily tasks include planning and executing menus, supervising food preparation, and ensuring consistent quality and presentation across all dishes. The Executive Chef manages kitchen staff scheduling, training, and performance, while maintaining strict standards for food safety, hygiene, and inventory control. This role collaborates with management to develop new concepts, control food costs, and support customer satisfaction through creative and efficient culinary solutions. The Executive Chef is expected to lead by example, foster a positive work environment, and continuously refine processes to improve kitchen productivity and service standards.
Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in menu development, food preparation techniques, and modern culinary trends.
- Experience managing kitchen operations, including staff supervision, workflow organization, and quality control.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, kitchen hygiene standards, and proper handling and storage of ingredients.
- Ability to manage budgets, monitor food costs, and work with procurement teams to optimize inventory and supplier relationships.
- Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train, mentor, and motivate diverse kitchen teams.
- Proven capacity to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and maintain high standards during peak service periods.
- Relevant culinary education, professional chef certification, or equivalent practical experience in senior kitchen roles.
- Experience within the Lebanese or Middle Eastern cuisine landscape, and openness to incorporating international influences.
