SCOPE OF THE JOB:
The Head of social media is a strategic and creative digital leader responsible for shaping the online voice, content strategy, and digital engagement for our multi-brand retail networks (Mike Sport, Outlets, Sneak Freak) and international distributed brands (New Balance, Crocs, The North Face) across Lebanon and Iraq. Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, this role oversees social media architecture, community management, and platform expansion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic Digital Planning: Define, implement, and lead the overarching social media strategy across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube) tailored to distinct brand identities and geographical markets.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Manage, guide, and review the output of three specialized Community Managers, ensuring alignment on brand tone, optimal posting frequencies, and crisis-management protocols.
- Cross-Unit Campaign Alignment: Partner closely with the Multi-Brand and Distribution units to map out digital content calendars alongside commercial product drops, and collaborate with the Creative and Events units to amplify on-ground activations digitally.
- Content Innovation & Trend Hijacking: Monitor emerging digital features, viral algorithms, and mobile video trends to consistently pivot content strategies and keep all brand handles culturally relevant and highly engaging.
- Analytics & Performance Reporting: Oversee social media reporting structures; analyze key performance data (engagement rates, follower growth, reach, conversion tracking) to optimize strategy and report performance metrics directly to the Marketing Director.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 6-8 years of experience in social media management or digital content strategy.
- Linguistic Skills: Advanced in written & spoken Arabic &English. French is a plus.
- Computer Skills: Advanced/Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Office.
