Job Duties:
- Oversee the preventive and corrective maintenance of all company trucks and vans to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Follow up on vehicle mechanical, electrical, tire, bodywork, and other repair requirements.
- Coordinate with garages, mechanics, suppliers, and external service providers for inspections, repairs, maintenance, and technical interventions.
- Ensure that all vehicle documents, registrations, licenses, inspections, and related records are valid and up to date.
- Follow up on vehicle insurance policies, renewals, claims, accidents, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with insurance companies, brokers, authorities, garages, and relevant service providers when required.
- Maintain and regularly update driving license records for all company drivers.
- Follow up on license validity, renewals, required permits, medical/official documents, and other driver-related requirements.
- Coordinate the allocation and availability of trucks and vans according to operational requirements.
- Monitor vehicle availability and coordinate with Operations, Logistics, Sales, and other relevant departments to minimize disruption to business activities.
- Monitor fleet maintenance, repair, insurance, fuel, and other vehicle-related expenses.
- Review quotations and repair estimates and ensure that costs are reasonable and properly justified.
- Maintain records of fleet-related expenditures and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Ensure that all fleet vehicles are maintained and operated in a safe and roadworthy condition.
- Immediately report and follow up on any vehicle safety concerns or serious defects.
