HostBotics is an international web hosting and cloud infrastructure company. Beyond running high-performance hosting environments, we build custom web applications for clients and develop our own automation modules for leading billing and provisioning platforms (WHMCS & HostBill), which we sell to hosting companies worldwide.
The Role
We're looking for an ambitious Junior Full-Stack Developer who wants to grow fast. You'll work on client websites, web applications, and our internal automation products, with structured mentorship and code reviews from a Senior Full-Stack Engineer.
This isn't a role where you'll only fix bugs on someone else's code. You'll help build real products that ship to an international market.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, customize, and maintain client websites (WordPress, custom PHP, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Tailwind)
- Help develop backend modules, plugins, and API integrations for hosting platforms (WHMCS, HostBill, cPanel/WHM APIs)
- Assist with technical support for hosting clients (DNS, SSL, email, control panel issues) [remove if not needed]
- Contribute to database design (MySQL) and RESTful API development
- Take part in weekly code reviews and technical planning sessions
Must-Haves
- A degree (completed or in progress) in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Solid fundamentals in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and SQL
- Working knowledge of PHP, or strong JavaScript backend experience and a willingness to master object-oriented PHP
- Comfortable with Git (branches, pull requests, clean commits)
- A problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and openness to constructive feedback
- Based in Lebanon and available for in-person team syncs in Beirut
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with Laravel, Symfony, or custom WordPress theme/plugin development
- Basic knowledge of Nginx/Apache, cPanel, Linux CLI, or Docker
- Experience with React, Vue, or Next.js
- Any exposure to WHMCS or HostBill
