Role Description The Vice President of Strategic Planning is a full-time, remote role responsible for shaping and executing the long-term strategic direction of Fintech Optics. This position leads strategic planning cycles, defines growth priorities, and aligns business initiatives across content, education, events, and community offerings. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market and competitive analyses, evaluating new business opportunities, and developing data-driven business plans that support revenue growth and audience expansion. The role collaborates closely with executive leadership and functional teams to translate strategy into actionable roadmaps, performance metrics, and operational improvements. The Vice President also monitors industry trends in financial services and fintech to ensure the company’s portfolio remains relevant, innovative, and commercially viable.
Qualifications
- * Strong strategic planning and business planning skills, with experience leading organization-wide strategy initiatives.
- Advanced analytical skills and market research capabilities to interpret complex data and industry trends.
- Solid understanding of finance and financial modeling to evaluate investments, initiatives, and growth opportunities.
- Proven experience in the financial services, fintech, or related sectors, ideally in a leadership or strategy role.
