Role Description The Arabic Teacher will deliver engaging, grade-appropriate Arabic language lessons aligned with the school’s Lebanese curriculum. Responsibilities include planning and implementing daily lesson plans, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of assignments and assessments. The teacher will support students’ language development in reading, writing, speaking, and listening, while promoting a classroom environment of respect, collaboration, and academic focus. The role also involves communicating regularly with parents and colleagues, participating in departmental meetings, and contributing to school activities when needed. This is a temporary, on-site role based at Cedars High School in Baouchrieh.
Qualifications
- * Strong proficiency in Language Teaching and Teaching, with experience instructing Arabic to school-age learners.
- Ability in Lesson Planning, including designing structured, engaging lessons and assessments aligned with curriculum standards.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues in a clear and professional manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language, Education, or a related field; teaching certification or relevant pedagogy training preferred.
- Experience working in K–12 settings, with strong classroom management and differentiation skills.
- Commitment to student-centered learning, inclusivity, and supporting diverse learning needs.
