Role Description The Administrative Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Mkalles. This position supports daily office operations by managing correspondence, organizing documents, and maintaining filing systems. The role includes answering and directing phone calls, greeting visitors, scheduling meetings, and preparing basic reports or presentations. The Administrative Assistant works closely with managers and team members to coordinate calendars, handle clerical tasks, and ensure smooth communication within the office. The individual in this role is expected to provide reliable support, maintain confidentiality, and uphold professional standards in all interactions.
Qualifications
- Strong Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills to handle filing, document preparation, scheduling, and general office coordination.
- Professional Phone Etiquette and Communication skills to manage incoming calls, greet visitors, and support internal and external correspondence.
- Experience in Executive Administrative Assistance or supporting senior leaders, including calendar management and meeting coordination.
- Proficiency with office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, and calendar tools) and comfort with basic data entry.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Mkalles, collaborate with diverse teams, and maintain a professional and respectful work style.
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role is preferred; post-secondary education in business, administration, or a related field is an advantage.
