Role Description The Trumpf Laser Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring Trumpf laser cutting machines to produce parts according to technical drawings and production schedules. Daily tasks include preparing workpieces, setting up machine parameters, loading and unloading materials, and performing basic adjustments to ensure accurate cutting and optimal machine performance. The operator inspects finished parts for quality, records production data, and reports any deviations or equipment issues to the supervisor. The role also involves routine cleaning of the work area, assisting with minor maintenance tasks, and complying with all safety procedures and company policies. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh.
Qualifications
- Experience operating CNC or laser cutting machines, preferably Trumpf laser systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and measurement tools (calipers, gauges, etc.).
- Knowledge of basic machine setup, parameter adjustment, and troubleshooting in a production environment.
- Understanding of industrial safety practices, including PPE usage and safe material handling.
- Attention to detail, strong quality focus, and ability to perform visual and dimensional inspections.
- Basic computer skills for entering production data and working with machine interfaces.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials as required, and work shifts as needed.
- Prior experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing and familiarity with sheet metal processes is an advantage.
- Vocational or technical diploma in mechanical, manufacturing, or related field is preferred.
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and collaborate effectively with supervisors and team members.
