Role Description The Supply Chain Intern role at POLATI, LLC is a full-time, on-site position based in Eastern, Saudi Arabia. The intern will assist with daily supply chain activities, including tracking materials, supporting procurement requests, and coordinating deliveries to scaffolding installation sites. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory records, helping monitor stock levels, and assisting with order scheduling to ensure timely availability of equipment and materials. The intern will support operations teams by collecting and analyzing basic data on material usage, lead times, and costs, and will prepare simple reports or summaries for supervisors. The role involves regular collaboration with internal departments and external vendors to support smooth, safe, and efficient project execution.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, track performance metrics, and support process improvements.
- Foundational knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Operations Management to support daily logistics and project activities.
- Basic understanding of Inventory Management for monitoring stock levels and assisting with replenishment planning.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other productivity tools for data entry and reporting.
- Ability to work on-site in Eastern, Saudi Arabia and collaborate in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to safety and compliance.
