Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Industry: Industrial Manufacturing / Building Materials

A well-established industrial manufacturing business in Saudi Arabia is seeking experienced Senior Sales & Business Development Managers to support the growth of two specialist business divisions:

1. Powder Coating Services

2. Glass Processing & Architectural Glass

Candidates are not expected to have experience across both areas. Applicants should have strong, directly relevant experience in either Powder Coating OR Glass Processing.

These are senior, hands-on commercial roles with responsibility for generating business, developing customers, increasing sales and maintaining a strong and sustainable order book for the relevant business division.

Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be expected to:

Take ownership of sales and business development for the relevant business division.
Proactively identify, approach and develop new customers and commercial opportunities throughout Saudi Arabia.
Generate enquiries and convert opportunities into profitable orders and repeat business.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while continuously expanding the customer base.
Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and customer visits through quotations, negotiation, order conversion and ongoing account development.
Develop and implement appropriate sales and marketing initiatives for the relevant business.
Maintain an active and credible sales pipeline and provide reliable forecasts of anticipated orders and revenue.
Monitor market activity, customer requirements, competitors and pricing and identify new areas of commercial opportunity.
Work closely with production, technical, logistics and finance teams to ensure that commercial commitments are aligned with capacity, quality, pricing, margins, delivery requirements and payment terms.
Take clear accountability for achieving agreed sales, revenue and business-development targets and maintaining a healthy forward order book.

Powder Coating ServicesCandidates applying for this position should have substantial direct experience in the powder-coating, surface-finishing or closely related industry.

The role will focus on developing and winning business from aluminium suppliers, processors, fabricators, manufacturers and other businesses requiring outsourced powder-coating services.

Candidates should understand the commercial and technical requirements associated with powder-coating services and have a demonstrable record of personally developing customers and securing business.

Experience selling powder-coating services is strongly preferred; experience limited to selling coating materials or equipment will not, by itself, be sufficient.

Glass Processing & Architectural GlassCandidates applying for this position should have substantial direct experience in processed architectural glass and related products and services.

The role will focus on developing business with aluminium and façade companies, glazing businesses, contractors, fit-out companies, trade customers and other buyers of processed architectural glass.

Candidates should have good commercial and product knowledge of relevant products such as tempered glass, laminated glass, insulated glass units (IGUs) and other processed architectural glass products, together with a proven ability to generate and close sales.

Candidate RequirementsFor either position, candidates should have:

A minimum of 15 years' relevant sales and business development experience, including substantial direct experience in the relevant industry.
Established professional experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with strong knowledge of the Saudi market.
An established and relevant KSA customer and industry network within their respective sector.
A demonstrable record of personally originating, developing, negotiating and winning business.
Strong commercial skills and the ability to convert opportunities into profitable orders and repeat customer relationships.
Sufficient technical/product knowledge to engage credibly with customers and understand their requirements.
A proactive, results-oriented approach and willingness to personally pursue opportunities rather than simply supervise a sales function.
A minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or another relevant discipline.
Fluent English. Arabic fluency is preferred.

ApplicationsCandidates should apply for the business line that matches their experience and clearly state at the beginning of their application:

POWDER COATING

GLASS PROCESSING

Applications should include a current CV together with a brief summary of:

Relevant industry experience;
Experience in the Saudi market;
Types of customers and products/services previously managed; and
