JOB PURPOSE:
The Senior Business Analyst is the custodian of all data used in United Group's Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP). The role combines data analysis and business analysis: collecting, validating and governing demand, supply, inventory and cost data, and turning it into clear insights and recommendations so that every S&OP decision is made on one trusted version of the truth.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
S&OP Data Custodianship & Governance
- Own all S&OP master and operational data, including SKUs, formulation, materials, customers, suppliers, lead times, min/max levels, capacities, and costs
- Define data standards, ownership, and update frequency for each data set, and enforce them across departments
- Run regular data quality checks for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness, and close gaps with data owners
- Maintain a single data dictionary and KPI definitions so that every function reports the same numbers
Data Collection & Integration
- Collect data from ERP, production data, MRP, sales orders, procurement and shipment schedules, and market sources
- Build and maintain automated data models and pipelines that replace manual consolidation
- Reconcile data between systems and physical stock, and explain variances
S&OP Cycle Support
- Maintain demand history, support the baseline forecast, and track forecast accuracy and bias.
- Build the supply view covering production capacity, raw material coverage, inventory projections, and constraints
- Run scenarios such as demand changes, raw material shortages, vessel delays, and price movements, and quantify their impact on volume, service, and margin
Insights, Reporting & Dashboards
- Design and own the S&OP dashboards and Operational KPI scorecards
- Turn data into clear insights on what changed, why, and the recommended action
- Deliver ad-hoc analysis for management on stock deviations, raw material consumption vs standard, service levels, cost-to-serve, and working capital (Raw material and Packaging)
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Business, or a related field (certification such as CPIM/CSCP, IBF CPF, or Power BI Data Analyst preferred).
- 3 – 4 years in data analysis, business analysis, or supply chain planning, including supporting S&OP or demand/supply planning, preferably in FMCG, agri-commodities, or feed/food manufacturing
