Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on a contract basis. The position involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions for mission-critical systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance applications that meet business and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize software systems with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Lead the development of new features and improvements for existing platforms.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex issues, debug problems, and implement solutions in a timely manner.
- Participate in architectural decisions, system design, and technology stack evaluations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong portfolio of work.
- Proficiency in backend development using languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with a focus on testability.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
