Role DescriptionCIVE® is seeking an experienced BIM Author – Architecture to join our Beirut office. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of professional experience using Revit to develop architectural BIM models, shop drawings, detailing, and complete construction document sets.
The BIM Author will work closely with the BIM Coordinator, BIM Manager, and multidisciplinary teams to produce accurate, coordinated, and high-quality project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain architectural BIM models up to LOD 400*. * Prepare complete construction document sets and architectural shop drawings using Revit. * Create and manage Revit parametric families. * Produce accurate 2D drawings, schedules, details, and sheets from BIM models. * Prepare and update models for project submissions. * Generate bills of quantities (BOQs) and support 4D and 5D BIM deliverables. * Review drawings and models for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project and BIM standards. * Assist in identifying clashes and coordination issues between architectural and other disciplines. * Prepare project deliverable packages for submission and transmittal. * Maintain organized project files, drawings, models, RFIs, clash reports, and related documentation. * Follow established BIM content standards, naming conventions, and file-management procedures. * Use Autodesk Construction Cloud as the project’s common data environment. * Report regularly to the BIM Coordinator on assigned tasks and project progress. * Deliver accurate, high-quality work within established deadlines. * Support the company’s quality management procedures and continuous improvement program.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field. * Minimum of three years of professional experience in architectural BIM modeling. * Strong experience producing LOD 400 models, shop drawings, architectural details, and complete construction document sets. * Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit. * Experience with AutoCAD, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Dynamo, Lumion, and Photoshop. * Familiarity with AI tools and their application within architectural workflows. * Experience working within an ISO 19650 or BS 1192 environment* is an advantage. * A Revit certification is considered a plus.
