We’re Hiring | Operations Executive
Seaways is looking for an Operations Executive to join our team in Beirut.
The selected candidate will be responsible for handling import and cross-trade shipments, coordinating with customers, agents, shipping lines, and other parties to ensure smooth shipment execution.
Please note: Relevant experience in freight forwarding or logistics is mandatory. Applications without this experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle import and cross-trade shipments from booking/follow-up through final delivery
• Coordinate with shipping lines, overseas agents, customers, and internal departments
• Follow up on shipping documents, arrivals, releases, and shipment status
• Ensure timely and accurate communication with all parties involved
• Handle operational issues and follow up until resolution
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Transport and Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations
• Good knowledge of import and cross-trade procedures
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
• Ability to independently manage shipments from A to Z
• Good command of English
