Role Description The Legal Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Beirut. The Legal Consultant will provide legal advice and assistance to clients, analyze legal issues, and prepare clear and accurate legal documents, contracts, and opinions. Daily responsibilities include reviewing and drafting agreements, conducting legal research, assessing compliance and risk, and supporting negotiations and case strategy. The role involves close collaboration with other team members, attending client meetings, and staying current with relevant laws and regulations to deliver practical and timely guidance.
Qualifications
* Solid knowledge of Law and the ability to interpret and apply legal principles across relevant practice areas.
* Demonstrated experience in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and structuring contracts, opinions, and formal correspondence.
* Proficiency in identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex Legal Issues with sound judgment.
* Capability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice and Legal Assistance to clients and internal stakeholders.
* Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; a master’s degree or specialized certifications are an advantage.
* Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and Arabic; French is a plus.
* Ability to work on-site in Beirut, manage multiple matters simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
