About the Role
We're looking for a motivated Junior QC Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You'll work alongside experienced engineers, learning our testing processes while contributing to real projects from day one. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their QA career who is eager to grow.
What You'll Do
- Execute manual test cases across web and API layers and report defects clearly
- Assist in designing and maintaining test cases and test documentation
- Perform basic API testing to validate functionality and edge cases
- Run SQL queries to verify data accuracy and integrity
- Support test automation efforts under the guidance of senior team members
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with developers and product teams
- Follow established testing standards and best practices
- Explore AI tools that can help improve testing efficiency
What We're Looking For
- 0-2 years of experience in software quality control or testing
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Computer Science preferred)
- Solid understanding of manual testing fundamentals and test case design
- Basic knowledge of API testing (e.g., Postman)
- Basic knowledge of SQL and databases
- Familiarity with test automation concepts
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Eagerness to learn and take feedback
Nice to Have
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification
- Exposure to performance testing tools
- Hands-on experience with any automation tool or scripting language
- Experience using AI tools in testing or AI-assisted development
- Internship or academic project experience in software testing
