Role Description This is a full-time Investment Banking Intern role based in the Riyadh Region, structured as a hybrid position with some work-from-home flexibility. The intern will support deal teams in conducting market and industry research, preparing pitch books, and assisting in financial and valuation analyses for potential transactions. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and updating financial models, supporting due diligence processes, compiling data and documentation, and helping prepare client presentations and internal reports. The intern will collaborate closely with investment professionals across private equity and leasing activities, gaining exposure to deal execution, portfolio monitoring, and investment committee materials. The role requires strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to learning, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong analytical skills and critical thinking abilities for evaluating companies, industries, and investment opportunities.
- Candidates should possess solid finance and investments knowledge, including basic understanding of valuation methods, capital markets, and corporate finance concepts.
- Candidates should possess financial modeling skills, including proficiency in Excel and the ability to build and interpret income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, and valuation models.
- Candidates should possess due diligence capabilities, including data gathering, document review, and preparation of concise findings for investment teams.
- Candidates should have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and professionally.
- Candidates should have high proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and comfort working with large datasets.
- Candidates should be pursuing or have recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field; relevant coursework or internships are an advantage.
- Candidates should demonstrate professionalism, integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the Middle East market and Arabic language skills are beneficial but not mandatory.
