Role Description
BÖWE is seeking a creative and technically skilled Interior Designer with 7–10 years of professional experience in high-end residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use interior design projects.
The successful candidate will lead design development, prepare detailed drawings and specifications, and deliver interiors that balance aesthetics, functionality, and quality. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to maintain design consistency from initial concept through project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead interior design projects from concept development through technical documentation and completion.
- Develop original design concepts that reflect the client’s vision, project objectives, and intended user experience.
- Prepare space plans, furniture layouts, mood boards, and material palettes that balance aesthetics, functionality, and circulation.
- Produce detailed construction drawings and specifications, including reflected ceiling plans, flooring layouts, elevations, sections, joinery details, and finishing schedules.
- Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories, and prepare furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) schedules aligned with project requirements and budgets.
- Create high-quality 3D visualizations, renderings, and presentations for client review and approval.
- Coordinate designs with architectural, structural, and MEP requirements, working closely with consultants, suppliers, and contractors.
- Review material samples and contractor shop drawings, resolve detailing issues, and maintain design intent during execution.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, health and safety standards, and project sustainability requirements.
- Present designs confidently, incorporate client feedback, and manage multiple project priorities while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Required Software Proficiency
- Technical Drawings and Documentation: AutoCAD.
- 3D Modeling and BIM: Revit and SketchUp.
- Rendering and Visualization: V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape, Twinmotion, and Unreal Engine.
- Graphics and Post-production: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects.
Candidate Requirements
- 7–10 years of hands-on interior design experience in high-end residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional work portfolio demonstrating original concepts, technical detailing, and relevant project experience.
- Strong creative judgment and a refined understanding of proportion, composition, color, texture, and lighting.
- Excellent knowledge of space planning, materials, finishes, joinery, and construction methods, with the ability to balance aesthetics, durability, and budget.
- Ability to lead design work independently and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong presentation, coordination, and time management skills, with close attention to detail and responsiveness to feedback.
