Double Marks is seeking an experienced HSE Officer to join our team for a major data center construction project in Riyadh.
The role is site-based and hands-on, supporting safe execution of civil, structural and subsequent fit-out activities from mobilization through project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site HSE inspections and ensure compliance with project HSE requirements.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions and workforce training.
- Implement and monitor PTW, RAMS, JSA/JHA and site safety procedures.
- Monitor excavation, rebar, formwork, concrete works, scaffolding, lifting operations, work at height and heavy equipment activities.
- Identify unsafe conditions/acts and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Participate in incident/near-miss investigations and prepare reports.
- Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, checklists and weekly/monthly reporting.
- Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors and the Main Contractor's HSE team.
- Support emergency preparedness and site HSE compliance throughout all construction phases.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of construction HSE experience, preferably in Saudi Arabia/GCC.
- Strong experience in civil and structural construction activities.
- NEBOSH IGC required.
- Good knowledge of Saudi HSE requirements and construction safety practices.
- Strong understanding of PTW, RAMS/JSA, lifting, excavation, work-at-height and temporary works safety.
- Good English communication and reporting skills.
- Data center or mission-critical project experience is an advantage.
- Currently based in Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama preferred.
- Candidates who can join immediately or on short notice are preferred.
