Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Grill Cook role based in the Kuwait City Metropolitan Area. The Grill Cook will prepare and cook grilled menu items to specification, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion size in line with NEOM Hospitality Group standards. Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining grill stations, handling ingredients safely, following recipes and cooking methods for Bukhari and Middle Eastern dishes, and monitoring cooking times and temperatures. The role also involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the work area, complying with food safety regulations, coordinating with kitchen team members during service, and assisting with inventory checks and preparation for peak dining periods. The Grill Cook contributes to a positive guest experience by ensuring food quality, speed of service, and professional kitchen conduct.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Food Preparation and Cooking, with experience working on grill stations or in similar hot kitchen roles.
- Experience in Food Service and Food & Beverage operations, ideally within casual or full-service restaurant environments.
- Commitment to customer service and guest satisfaction, supporting front-of-house teams through timely and quality food delivery.
- Knowledge of basic food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation practices; certification in food handling is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow standardized recipes, and coordinate with a diverse kitchen team.
- Prior experience with Middle Eastern or Bukhari cuisine is preferred but not required; willingness to learn traditional recipes is essential.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by restaurant operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal culinary training or vocational cooking courses are a plus.
