We’re now looking for a talented Graphic Designer with packaging experience to join our remote team.
Job Description
We are looking for a full-time, remote Graphic Designer with a strong passion for design and an exceptional eye for detail. You won’t only make things look good. You’ll understand how a design works in the real world, on a shelf, in someone’s hands and through production. The role mainly involves:
- Packaging design, from concept to print-ready files, including boxes, labels, bottles, bags and other product packaging
- Thinking through the full packaging process: structure, dielines, materials, finishes, printing methods and how the final product will be produced and used
- Branding and brand identity design, including logos, style guides and consistent brand materials
- Creating engaging social media content, including graphics, layouts and animations for different platforms
- Designing catalogues, company profiles and reports with a strong focus on layout, structure and visual consistency
The ideal candidate can explain the thinking behind their designs, not just the final look. You should be comfortable with both digital and print work and have strong knowledge of typography, composition and color theory.
Requirements
- Proven experience in packaging design, with examples in your portfolio
- Understanding of packaging materials, finishes and print production (dielines, bleed, CMYK, Pantone, foiling, embossing, etc.)
- Ability to explain the reasoning behind your design and material choices
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
- Strong skills in branding, content creation and visual storytelling
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- Ability to handle multiple projects while keeping attention to detail
- No degree required. Passion, creativity and a willingness to learn are key
Considered a Plus
- Experience working directly with printers or packaging suppliers
- 3D mockups or packaging visualisation skills
- Knowledge of video editing or motion graphics
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM Dubai time.
