Job Title: Workflow Automation Developer
Monthly Pay: USD 1,250 - 1,430 per month
Summary:
Build dependable automations that reduce repeated manual work and help the team move requests forward. You turn incoming requests into workflows that connect tools and run without someone clicking through each step. You write, test and fix code where visual setup alone cannot meet the need. A technology team lead sets priorities, reviews your work and helps you work through difficult questions. You support the team's builders with smaller changes, clear notes and careful testing before release. The role is fully remote and lets you work from home while sharing progress with the team. The role pays a monthly base salary plus bonus opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:
• Build working automations from agreed requests, starting with the result the team needs and the steps that trigger it.
• Organize incoming requests in a work management tool such as Trello, which tracks work, progress and ownership.
• Ask people how they complete the work today. Write the steps, expected results and exceptions in plain words.
• Connect existing tools using an automation tool such as Make, which moves information and starts actions between systems.
• Write, test and fix code for steps that need it. Save versions using a code storage tool such as GitLab.
• Write and improve prompts for an AI assistant such as ChatGPT, which drafts answers from instructions. Check every result before use.
• Test normal cases, missing information and failed connections. Correct faults before sharing the workflow with the people using it.
• Add checks and alerts for stopped workflows or doubtful answers, with clear steps for a person to review them.
• Write short guides covering use, connected tools, ownership and recovery steps. Show the team how to use each automation.
• Watch released workflows, investigate reported problems and make small fixes. Share progress and suggest changes that reduce repeated manual work.
• Judge quality through reliable runs, tested changes, readable code, accurate outputs and clear notes that help others maintain the workflow.
Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience building real automations or AI workflows is required; work and personal projects count.
• Conversational spoken English and clear written English.
• A computer, a mobile phone, a stable internet connection, and reliable electricity.
• Ability to turn a repeated process into clear steps, including its starting event, decisions and expected result.
• Familiarity with visual automation tools and basic JavaScript for connecting systems, checking values and handling errors.
• Careful testing habits, including comparing expected results with actual outputs and checking AI answers before use.
• Ability to keep saved code versions and explain changes so another builder can understand and safely update them.
• Clear written updates and short how-to guides, with useful questions when a request leaves important details unclear.
• Respect for private information, appropriate access limits and a willingness to understand unfamiliar tools before changing shared workflows.
Perks & Benefits:
• Enjoy fully remote work from home while building practical automations that support the team's daily work.
• Structured onboarding and guided practice cover the named tools, testing steps and the team's approach to safe changes.
• Regular check-ins with the team lead provide feedback, help with blockers and clear priorities for upcoming work.
• Explore growth opportunities within the team through broader workflow projects, shared reviews and chances to strengthen coding skills.
• Bonus opportunities.
