We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to take ownership of accounting, reporting and compliance across our multi-entity Group.
Responsibilities
- Manage AP & AR, supplier payments, collections, ageing reports and client/supplier reconciliations.
- Monitor Group liquidity, daily bank positions, payment priorities and prepare 13-week cash flow forecasts.
- Manage bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities.
- Lead the month-end close, including journals, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, revenue recognition and cut-off.
- Coordinate payroll, employee expenses and end-of-service provisions.
- Prepare entity-level P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements and Group consolidation, including intercompany eliminations.
- Prepare monthly management reports and provide visibility on cash flow and financial performance.
- Maintain and improve Odoo finance processes, master data and internal controls.
- Coordinate preparation of UAE VAT & Corporate Tax, KSA VAT and other statutory requirements with external service providers.
- Review and support the work of junior accounting resources.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
- Strong experience in multi-entity accounting, month-end closing and financial reporting.
- Good knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles.
- Experience with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax; KSA tax/ZATCA experience is a strong advantage.
- Strong Excel and ERP skills.
- ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently, taking ownership and managing multiple deadlines.
This position will initially be offered on a contractual basis and does not constitute a full employment agreement. The scope of work, working arrangements, compensation, benefits, and other applicable terms will be discussed and mutually agreed upon with the selected candidate at a later stage.
