Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Barista role based in Beirut. The Barista prepares and serves specialty coffee and other beverages according to Latte Art’s recipes and standards, including espresso-based drinks and signature creations. Daily tasks include greeting customers, taking orders, operating coffee machines, handling food preparation for pastries and snacks, and ensuring a clean, organized workspace. The role also involves managing the cash register, processing payments accurately, and following food safety and hygiene guidelines. Baristas collaborate with team members to maintain a welcoming atmosphere, support efficient service during busy periods, and uphold Latte Art’s commitment to high-quality customer experiences.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service, Interpersonal Skills, and Communication.
- Candidates should possess practical coffee and café operation skills, including Barista experience and Food Preparation abilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and handle peak service times calmly and efficiently.
- Attention to detail in drink preparation, food handling, and cleanliness, with a focus on quality and consistency.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by store operations.
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided.
