Job Title: Vibe Coder
Monthly Pay: USD 1,250 - 1,500 per month
Summary:
You use an AI coding assistant such as Cursor to draft code and explore small app ideas. Build requests arrive through a work management tool such as Jira, which organizes requests and progress. You turn those requests into working apps and websites that make the team's work easier. You direct the assistant, read its code, and test each change rather than accept suggestions without review. A technology team lead helps you choose practical approaches and checks that each build meets the agreed needs. This fully remote role combines work from home with shared testing, feedback, and clear progress notes. The role pays a monthly base salary plus bonus opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:
• Build working apps by directing the AI coding assistant, then read, correct, and test the code it produces. Start with a small working version.
• Review incoming build requests and agree their order with the team lead. Keep each request's progress and next step visible.
• Ask colleagues what the app should do and who will use it. Write clear needs and examples before building.
• Write and fix code for screens, forms, and the actions behind them. Keep each part simple enough for others to update.
• Connect apps to a database such as Firebase, which stores app information. Check that forms save and display the right details.
• Test normal use, missing information, and unexpected entries before sharing a build. Check every AI answer or result before use or sharing.
• Save changes in a code storage tool such as Bitbucket, which keeps earlier versions. Add notes so changes can be reversed.
• Publish approved builds through a hosting service such as Netlify, which makes websites available to users. Check the published version again.
• Write short guides covering use, updates, and known limits. Keep examples of instructions that help the coding assistant produce useful code.
• Gather user feedback after release, fix faults, and test changes again. Share short updates about progress, blockers, and decisions needed.
• Judge quality by agreed features, readable code, tested changes, and clear notes. Flag unfinished checks before asking for review.
Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience building real apps, websites or tools is required; work and personal projects count.
• Conversational spoken English and clear written English.
• A computer, a mobile phone, a stable internet connection, and reliable electricity.
• Ability to read and edit JavaScript, the language used to add actions to web pages.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants and the habit of checking generated code against the actual request.
• Understanding of screens, forms, stored information, and how these parts work together in a small app.
• Willingness to use the named build, request tracking, code storage, database, and hosting tools with guidance.
• Careful testing habits, including writing clear steps that help another person repeat a fault and check its fix.
• Ability to explain progress plainly, ask focused questions, and protect private information while building and testing tools.
Perks & Benefits:
• A fully remote work setup where you work from home and share builds for team feedback.
• Structured onboarding and guidance on the named tools, with practice in building, testing, saving, and publishing changes.
• Regular check-ins with the technology team lead to review progress, discuss questions, and choose clear next steps.
• Team growth opportunities through broader build practice, shared feedback, and chances to improve your testing and coding skills.
• Bonus opportunities.
