Job SummaryThe Facilities Engineer will be responsible for managing and coordinating facility operations, maintenance activities, contractors, and service providers to ensure that all facilities remain safe, functional, well-maintained, and operational. The role will focus on maintaining facility quality standards, improving the user experience, and ensuring the efficient delivery of maintenance and facility services.
Key Responsibilities
- * Manage and coordinate day-to-day facilities operations and maintenance activities.
- Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure timely completion and high-quality work.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and service providers and monitor their performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and identify maintenance requirements, defects, and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure facilities, equipment, and systems are properly maintained and operational.
- Prepare and follow up on maintenance schedules, work orders, and service requests.
- Ensure compliance with facility quality, safety, and operational standards.
- Review and monitor contractors’ work to ensure compliance with approved specifications and required quality standards.
- Support the planning and execution of facility improvement, renovation, and construction projects.
- Prepare and review technical reports, maintenance records, and facility-related documentation.
- Use AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software for drawings, layouts, and technical requirements when required.
- Coordinate with internal departments to address facility-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Identify opportunities to improve facility efficiency, service quality, and user experience.
- Monitor facility-related costs and support effective utilization of maintenance resources.
- Ensure all facility operations are conducted in accordance with company policies and applicable standards.
- Perform other duties related to facilities and engineering as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management, Facility Operations, Maintenance, or Construction Projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software.
- Solid knowledge of facilities operations and maintenance management.
- Experience in coordinating contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Good understanding of facility quality and operational standards.
- Strong communication, coordination, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high facility standards.
- Ability to work effectively with internal teams, contractors, and service providers.
