Role DescriptionThe Cosmetic and Laser Dermatologist (Consultant/Senior Registrar) will provide advanced clinical care in cosmetic, laser, and general dermatology to a diverse patient population. Responsibilities include conducting thorough dermatological assessments, diagnosing and managing skin conditions, and performing cosmetic and laser procedures such as skin rejuvenation, pigment and vascular lesion treatments, acne and scar therapies, and other non-surgical aesthetic interventions.
The role involves developing individualized treatment plans, ensuring informed consent, maintaining accurate medical records, and adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards. The dermatologist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals, participate in patient education, and support continuous quality improvement initiatives within the department.
The successful candidate will also contribute to the center’s cosmetic dermatology presence by maintaining a professional social media presence, participating in educational and promotional content, and supporting patient engagement and awareness of available dermatological and aesthetic services.
This is a full-time, on-site role based at Dar As Sihha Medical Center in Dammam.
Qualifications Advanced clinical dermatology skills, including diagnosis and management of common and complex skin, hair, and nail disorders.
* Specialized training and/or proven experience in cosmetic and aesthetic dermatology.
* Proficiency in cosmetic dermatology procedures such as injectables (e.g., neuromodulators and fillers), chemical peels, skin rejuvenation, and other non-invasive aesthetic treatments.
* Hands-on experience with laser and energy-based devices for skin resurfacing, pigmentation, vascular lesions, hair reduction, acne, and scar management.
* Strong understanding of modern cosmetic dermatology techniques, treatment protocols, patient selection, and aesthetic assessment.
* Demonstrated ability to develop individualized cosmetic and dermatological treatment plans based on patient needs and expectations.
* Strong patient communication and counseling skills, with the ability to explain treatment options, risks, benefits, and expected outcomes clearly and empathetically.
* Strong professional social media presence and willingness to participate in social media content, including educational videos, patient awareness campaigns, and promotion of cosmetic dermatology services.
* Comfortable representing the medical center professionally on social media platforms while maintaining appropriate medical ethics, patient confidentiality, and professional standards.
* Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous professional development, and adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
* Recognized medical degree and completed residency or equivalent training in Dermatology; board certification or eligibility in Dermatology is preferred.
* Valid license to practice Dermatology in Saudi Arabia or eligibility to obtain licensure through the relevant regulatory authorities.
* Experience working in multidisciplinary clinical settings, with the ability to collaborate effectively with nurses, technicians, and other specialists.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage outpatient clinics, procedure schedules, and follow-up care efficiently.
* Ability and willingness to work full-time on-site at Dar As Sihha Medical Center in Dammam.
* Professional appearance, excellent interpersonal skills, and a patient-centered approach.
* Previous experience in a private medical center, aesthetic clinic, or cosmetic dermatology setting is preferred.
* Active SCFHS registration* and a valid Saudi professional license or eligibility to obtain the required license.
* Currently residing in Saudi Arabia and available to work within the Kingdom.
* Candidates currently based outside the Eastern Province must be willing to relocate to Dammam.
