We are looking for an experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeon to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in reconstructive and/or aesthetic plastic surgery, with excellent surgical skills and a patient-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities
- * Conduct comprehensive consultations, assessments, and surgical planning for plastic and reconstructive surgery patients
- Perform a wide range of reconstructive and aesthetic surgical procedures within the scope of expertise
- Manage patients requiring reconstruction following trauma, cancer surgery, burns, congenital conditions, or other tissue defects
- Perform facial and body contouring procedures where appropriately trained
- Manage complex wounds, soft-tissue defects, and post-surgical complications
- Perform breast reconstruction and other reconstructive procedures as applicable to clinical expertise
- Evaluate patients for cosmetic procedures and provide appropriate counselling regarding risks, benefits, and expected outcomes
- Provide pre-operative assessment, informed consent, and comprehensive post-operative follow-up
- Monitor surgical outcomes and manage post-operative complications
- Work closely with oncologists, breast surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, maxillofacial surgeons, dermatologists, and other multidisciplinary specialists
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical governance and patient-safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement, clinical audits, teaching, research, and CME activities
Requirements*Qualifications** MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree
* Recognized postgraduate qualification in Plastic Surgery / Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
* Fellowship or advanced training in Plastic, Reconstructive, Aesthetic, or Microsurgery is an advantage
* Board certification or equivalent recognized specialist/consultant qualification
* Minimum 5-10 years of post-specialization experience in Plastic Surgery
* Strong experience in reconstructive and/or aesthetic plastic surgery
* Experience with complex reconstruction, microsurgery, trauma, burns, or breast reconstruction is highly desirable
* Eligible for DHA Consultant classification/license in Dubai
* Excellent surgical, communication, and patient-management skills
