Role Overview
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for developing Cigaronne’s presence across Dubai’s hospitality sector, with a focus on premium hotels, lounges, beach clubs, bars, restaurants and other relevant hospitality venues.
This is a field-based business development role requiring regular client visits, strong relationship-building skills and the ability to independently identify and convert new accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a pipeline of hospitality accounts across an assigned Dubai territory.
- Conduct regular face-to-face visits with hotels, lounges, beach clubs, bars and hospitality groups.
- Identify and build relationships with General Managers, F&B Managers, Purchasing Managers and other relevant decision-makers.
- Present the Cigaronne portfolio and commercial proposition professionally.
- Negotiate commercial terms within approved company parameters.
- Convert new prospects into active purchasing accounts.
- Follow up consistently on meetings, proposals and commercial discussions.
- Monitor account performance and generate repeat orders.
- Maintain accurate records of visits, opportunities and account status.
- Provide regular competitor, pricing and market feedback.
- Coordinate with the Commercial & Operations Manager on account onboarding, documentation, orders and deliveries.
- Represent the brand professionally and in accordance with UAE regulations governing tobacco products and promotion.
Candidate Profile
- Previous UAE experience in business development, hospitality sales, FMCG, beverages, tobacco or a related field strongly preferred.
- Existing relationships within Dubai hospitality are a significant advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable working independently and spending the majority of the working day in the field.
- Target-driven with a strong new-business mentality.
- Organised and disciplined with follow-ups.
- UAE driving licence strongly preferred.
- English required; additional languages are an advantage.
Performance Measures
Performance will be assessed based on:
- Qualified client visits.
- New decision-maker contacts.
- Commercial opportunities generated.
- New accounts opened.
- First orders secured.
- Repeat orders.
- Revenue and volume generated from the assigned territory.
