Brand and Customer Marketing Specialist
At Florius International FZCO
Location: Dubai Airport Freezone, Dubai, UAE
Employment: Full-time – 45 hrs - 5 days per week
Do you love flowers and enjoy thinking about what makes people connect with a product or brand? The international flower industry brings together colour, creativity, culture and commerce. We are looking for a creative marketer who can turn customer insight into fresh ideas, distinctive positioning and campaigns that bring our flowers to life around the world. You will combine imagination with practical execution and help shape how customers discover, understand and experience Florius.
About Florius
Florius Flowers is a breeder, grower and distributor of summer flowers, specialising in Hypericum and Veronica, grown in Kenya, Ethiopia and Colombia. With more than 30 years of experience in floriculture, we bring our high-quality flowers to customers around the world.
From Dubai, our international team manages key operations such as sales, customer relations, logistics, finance, marketing and digital innovation. We support customers across different time zones, 365 days a year. Our office operates from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, seven days a week, across two shifts. This is a five-day-per-week position, with weekends and public holidays included in the rota. We’re looking for someone who fits this dynamic perfectly.
About the Marketing Team
You will join a small, hands-on marketing team of three within our wider Dubai team of 15 colleagues working across Sales, Operations, Finance, IT and Marketing. Together, we position Florius and its flowers, launch new varieties and shape how customers around the world see and experience our brand. We share ideas and execution, and produce most creative work in-house.
About the Role
As our Brand and Customer Marketing Specialist, you will turn customer and market insight into clear positioning, compelling stories and campaigns that connect our flowers with the right audiences. Our customers work across different parts of the flower industry, countries and cultures, so you will adapt our approach while keeping the Florius brand recognisable. This is a broad, hands-on role that moves between insight, ideas, planning and execution. This position is a good fit for someone who is Business minded, curious and likes to be involved in many aspects of a company.
Key Responsibilities
• Build a strong understanding of our customers, markets, cultures and commercial opportunities.
• Turn customer and market insight into meaningful segments, positioning, value propositions and messaging.
• Develop campaign and product-launch concepts, and translate them into focused plans, briefs and coordinated activity.
• Shape the customer journey and strengthen communication across touchpoints while safeguarding a consistent Florius brand.
• Work with Creative, Sales and Operations, farms and external partners to deliver ideas hands-on and improve them through feedback and results.
We Are Looking For
• A genuinely creative thinker who enjoys developing brands, product stories and campaign ideas from a blank page.
• Curiosity about customers, cultures and markets, together with the judgement to adapt communication for different audiences.
• The ability to think strategically while remaining practical and willing to execute.
• Strong storytelling, writing, presentation and communication skills.
• A good visual sense and the ability to judge whether content and design support the intended message.
• Initiative, openness to feedback and the flexibility to support colleagues and move between projects.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating closely with Marketing, Sales and Operations, farms, customers and external partners.
• Preferably already based in Dubai.
Qualifications and Skills
• A bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, communications, brand management or a related field, or comparable practical training.
• Strong written and spoken English. Another European language is an advantage.
• Confidence creating clear presentations, plans and briefs using Canva, PowerPoint, Word and common digital workplace tools.
• An interest in digital marketing, customer communication and how content works across different channels.
• Photography, design, video editing or floral styling skills are an advantage, but not a requirement.
· We care more about how you think, create, learn and work with others than about the number of years on your CV.
