Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architecture Tender Engineer role based in Cairo, Egypt. The Architecture Tender Engineer will prepare and review tender documents, including architectural drawings, specifications, bills of quantities, and cost estimates. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing project requirements, coordinating with architecture and civil engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards. The role involves evaluating bids, liaising with contractors and suppliers, and supporting negotiations to secure competitive and accurate tender submissions. The Architecture Tender Engineer will also work closely with project managers to align tender proposals with project timelines, budgets, and technical objectives.
Qualifications
* Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture, with the ability to read, interpret, and develop architectural drawings and specifications.
* Candidates should possess skills in Architecture Engineering including understanding of materials, and construction methodologies.
* Candidates should possess Project Management capabilities, such as planning, scheduling, and coordinating multidisciplinary inputs for tender preparation.
* Candidates should possess effective Teamwork skills, collaborating with colleagues, consultants, and external partners to deliver accurate and timely tender proposals.
* Relevant bachelor’s degree in Architecture Engineering, or a closely related field.
* Experience in tender preparation, cost estimation, or contracting within the construction industry, preferably in tech‑construction environments.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and proficiency in relevant design and estimation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, MS Excel).
* Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and tender procedures in Egypt.
* Clear written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
