About the Role
We are looking for a technically strong and commercially driven Airspace & Defense Solutions Engineer to bridge engineering, technology, and business.
The ideal candidate understands aviation and unmanned systems, can engage confidently in technical discussions with customers, translate complex requirements into practical solutions, and independently develop professional presentations, business reports, and technical-commercial proposals.
This is a customer-facing role combining Solutions Engineering, Technical Pre-Sales, Business Analysis, and Business Development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop in-depth knowledge of aviation, airspace, defense, software, hardware, and integrated technology solutions
- Engage with customers, aviation authorities, ANSPs, government entities, and defense stakeholders to understand technical and operational requirements
- Conduct business analysis, requirements gathering, market research, and solution assessments
- Translate customer requirements into solution concepts, use cases, and structured documentation
- Prepare professional sales decks, product presentations, pitch decks, technical proposals, business reports, and commercial quotations
- Support technical demonstrations, customer presentations, and detailed solution discussions
- Contribute to business development, opportunity qualification, and commercial proposals
- Prepare technical correspondence, meeting minutes, briefing notes, and follow-up documentation
- Coordinate with Business, Product, and Engineering teams to validate proposed solutions
What We’re Looking For
Education
Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:
Preferred:
- Avionics Engineering
- Aeronautical Engineering
- Aviation Systems Engineering
- Aerospace Engineering
Also considered with relevant industry experience:
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Telecommunications Engineering
- Systems Engineering
- Computer Engineering
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience; 3–5 years preferred
- Strong understanding of aviation terminology, airspace operations, ATC/ATM, ANSP, and UAS/UTM concepts
- Ability to understand software platforms, hardware technologies, system architecture, and integration concepts
- Strong analytical, technical writing, presentation, and business documentation skills
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and proposal development
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to different audiences
- Fluent Arabic and English, written and spoken
- Omani national
