Role Description The Aesthetics Nurse (Aethatatics Nurse) at New Age Clinic is a full-time, on-site role based in Al Ain. The nurse will perform and assist with a range of aesthetic procedures and treatments, including skin rejuvenation, laser therapies, injectables where permitted, and other non-surgical cosmetic services under clinical protocols. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, assessing skin and health history, explaining treatment options, obtaining informed consent, and delivering safe, evidence-based care. The role involves operating advanced aesthetic equipment, monitoring treatment progress, documenting patient records accurately, and adhering to infection control and safety standards. The nurse will collaborate closely with physicians and other team members, provide pre- and post-treatment guidance, support patient education, and contribute to a welcoming and professional clinic environment.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license/registration and recognized nursing qualification (e.g., Diploma or Bachelor’s in Nursing or equivalent).
- Proven experience in aesthetic, dermatology, or cosmetic nursing, with strong knowledge of skin anatomy, laser safety, and non-surgical treatments.
- Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain aesthetic devices (e.g., laser platforms like Cynosure, Deka, Candela Gentle Max Pro), following manufacturer guidelines and clinic protocols.
- Strong patient assessment, clinical judgment, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and adherence to infection control and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach and ability to educate and reassure clients about procedures and aftercare.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, manage time effectively, and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Flexibility to work full-time on-site in Al Ain, including possible evening or weekend shifts as required by clinic operations.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages commonly spoken in the region are an advantage.
- Previous experience in private clinics, medical spas, or similar settings, and ongoing interest in professional development and aesthetic industry trends.
