Role Description The Accountant at Optimum DynamiX is a full-time, on-site role based in Qesm El Obour. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing journal entries. The Accountant will prepare and analyze financial statements, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and support month-end and year-end closing processes. Additional responsibilities include reconciling accounts, monitoring expenses, ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations, and supporting internal and external audits. The role involves collaborating with other departments to provide accurate financial information and support data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
* Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., Excel) and comfort working with financial data and ERP systems.
* Ability to perform account reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
* Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA or equivalent are a plus.
* Experience in manufacturing or automotive-related industries, particularly in tires, is an advantage.
