Job Summary:
Technical Office Structural Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in structural design and technical office works
The role includes preparing and reviewing structural shop drawings, structural design calculations, calculation sheets, reinforcement detailing, and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), as well as reviewing IFC drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review structural shop drawings
- Perform structural analysis and structural design calculations.
- Prepare and review structural calculation sheets
- Prepare reinforcement detailing and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
- Review IFC drawings and project specifications to ensure compliance with structural design requirements
- Coordinate with project, architectural, and MEP teams to ensure design compliance and constructability
- Provide technical support to site teams and resolve design-related issues
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 3–5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and ASD
- Good knowledge of SAP and structural design software
- Strong experience in structural design, shop drawings, calculation sheets, and reinforcement detailing
- Knowledge of Egyptian Codes and international standards
Strong coordination and communication skills
