Job Summary:
The role is focusing on ensuring smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of the bank's core banking systems, particularly Temenos T24.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the Temenos T24 core banking system and related applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage the resolution of technical issues and incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.
- Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Provide second- and third-level support for core banking applications.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues related to the core banking system.
- Analyze root causes of recurring incidents and implement long-term solutions.
- Maintain detailed incident records and monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Work with business units to gather and document requirements for system enhancements and new features.
- Coordinate with IT and vendor teams to plan, test, and deploy upgrades, patches, and customizations to the core banking platform.
- Ensure thorough testing and validation of all changes before deployment to production environments.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the IT department and business units for core banking application support.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the core banking system aligns with business objectives.
- Liaise with vendors, including Temenos, to address critical issues and coordinate support efforts.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT support, with at least 5 years specializing in core banking applications such as Temenos T24 for the Manager.
- Proven experience in managing support teams and handling mission-critical applications.
- Strong expertise in Temenos T24, including its architecture, modules, and integration points.
- Hands-on experience with T24 system upgrades, configurations, and customizations.
