Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Store Manager role based in Cairo, Egypt. The Store Manager oversees daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and adherence to company standards. This role leads and coaches the store team to deliver an excellent customer experience, achieve sales targets, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. The Store Manager monitors inventory, coordinates merchandising and product displays, and ensures accurate pricing and product availability. Responsibilities also include managing cash handling, controlling shrinkage and losses, enforcing retail loss prevention procedures, and preparing regular sales and performance reports for management.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction.
- Proficient Store Management capabilities, with experience overseeing daily retail operations and team performance.
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and management.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to minimize shrinkage and protect store assets.
- Proven experience in retail or showroom management, preferably in home furnishings, mattresses, or related sectors.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including coaching, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using POS systems and basic retail software; solid numerical and reporting skills.
- Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
