We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team.
Position: Social Worker
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide social, emotional, and behavioral support to students
- Identify students who require additional support and follow up on their cases
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records and case documentation
- Work closely with students, parents, teachers, and the Inclusion Team
- Support students with social, family, behavioral, and adjustment-related challenges
- Monitor students' progress and provide appropriate interventions and follow-up
- Support safeguarding and student well-being initiatives
- Refer cases to specialized professionals when necessary
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with school policies and procedures
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field
- Previous experience as a Social Worker, preferably in a school or educational setting
- Good understanding of child and adolescent development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong case management, follow-up, and documentation skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters professionally
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Patient, empathetic, and approachable personality
- Good command of English, written and spoken
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of child safeguarding and protection procedures is an advantage
Requirements
- * Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or relevant field
- Teaching certification
- Experience teaching English to elementary-level students is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to foster a nurturing and effective learning atmosphere
- Good organizational skills and adaptability
