**Senior Technical Lead Engineer

Mashhur is a technology platform focused on building a strong, scalable digital product. We are growing our technical team in Cairo to support the continued development and performance of the platform.
Role Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Technical Lead Engineer with strong experience in native mobile application development, including iOS and Android, as well as backend systems and AWS.
This is a senior technical role for someone who can work directly within the codebase while also leading developers and overseeing technical delivery. The successful candidate should be equally comfortable coding, reviewing technical work, solving complex issues and guiding the wider engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical development of the platform across native iOS, Android and backend systems.
- Work directly within the codebase and contribute to production development.
- Lead and support developers, review code and maintain strong engineering standards.
- Oversee APIs, integrations, databases and AWS infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support releases and deployments.
- Ensure the platform remains secure, scalable and technically reliable.
- Support technical planning and future development of the engineering team.
Required Experience
- Strong senior-level software engineering background.
- Hands-on experience with native iOS and Android applications.
- Experience working with Swift and Kotlin.
- Strong backend and API development experience.
- Strong AWS and cloud infrastructure experience.
- Experience leading or managing developers.
- Strong understanding of databases, integrations, security and deployment processes.
- Experience with scalable SaaS, marketplace, e-commerce or transactional platforms is beneficial.
This is not a purely managerial role. We are looking for someone who can lead technically while remaining genuinely hands-on with development.**
