Role Description The Senior Credit Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in El Tagamoa El Khames. This role is responsible for managing the credit control function, including monitoring customer accounts, setting and reviewing credit limits, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding receivables. Daily tasks include reviewing aged debtor reports, following up with customers on overdue payments, negotiating payment plans where needed, and coordinating with the sales and finance teams to resolve disputes and credit issues. The Senior Credit Controller will analyze credit risk, recommend appropriate terms, and implement policies that reduce bad debt and improve cash flow. The role also involves preparing regular reports for management, ensuring compliance with company procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement of credit and collection processes.
Qualifications
- * Candidates should possess strong skills in Credit Control and Credit Management, including setting credit limits, monitoring exposure, and enforcing credit policies.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Debt Collection and managing Debtors, with a proven ability to reduce overdue balances and negotiate effective repayment solutions.
- Candidates should possess solid Finance skills, including understanding of financial statements, cash flow, and the impact of credit decisions on working capital.
- Relevant skills such as proficiency in ERP/accounting systems, advanced Excel, and strong numerical and analytical abilities are beneficial.
- Previous experience in a senior credit control or similar role, preferably in manufacturing or trading environments, and a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field are preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills, along with attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work on-site in El Tagamoa El Khames, are essential.
