Role Description
The Sales Engineer for electrical wiring devices is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This role involves identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, presenting product solutions to clients, and supporting the sales cycle from prospecting to closing. The Sales Engineer will provide technical guidance on product specifications, installation, and application to distributors, contractors, and end users. Daily tasks include preparing proposals, conducting product demonstrations, responding to technical inquiries, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment. The role also includes maintaining strong customer relationships, collecting market feedback, and contributing to sales targets and growth in the local and regional markets.
Qualifications
* Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills, with the ability to explain electrical wiring device solutions clearly and accurately.
* Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to build trust, manage client expectations, and handle inquiries professionally.
* Candidates should possess solid Sales skills, including negotiation, opportunity management, and pipeline handling.
* Relevant experience in electrical wiring devices, low-voltage systems, or related electrical products is highly beneficial.
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
* Ability to work on-site in Cairo, Egypt, visit customer locations, and conduct field meetings as needed.
* Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools, with strong analytical and reporting abilities.
* Fluency in Arabic and good command of English to communicate with local and regional stakeholders.
