ECB – Engineering Consulting Bureau is looking for Roads Engineers to join our team and contribute to major infrastructure and road projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor road construction and infrastructure works.
- Review contractors’ shop drawings, method statements, and technical submittals.
- Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Monitor earthworks, subgrade, subbase, base course, asphalt works, and road finishing works.
- Review and follow up on material testing and quality control activities.
- Coordinate with contractors and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues.
- Conduct site inspections and review Inspection Requests (IRs).
- Monitor work progress and report technical issues and non-conformities.
- Review as-built drawings and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in Roads and Infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of road construction methods and materials.
- Experience in supervising earthworks, pavement, asphalt, and road infrastructure works.
- Ability to review technical drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD; knowledge of Civil 3D is preferred.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience in an engineering consultancy is preferred.
- Willingness to work on project sites.
