Role Description The Reservations Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This position is responsible for handling inbound and outbound reservation inquiries, providing accurate information on travel options, and processing bookings, with a particular focus on cruise-related services. The role involves assisting customers with itinerary planning, fare and availability checks, changes or cancellations, and special requests, while ensuring a smooth and positive booking experience. The Consultant will use internal systems to manage reservations, document interactions, and follow established procedures and compliance standards. Daily tasks also include working closely with team members to meet performance targets, resolving issues efficiently, and identifying opportunities to promote suitable services or upgrades.
Qualifications
- Strong reservations and booking skills, including experience with reservation systems and attention to detail in data entry.
- Proficient customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and support diverse customers professionally.
- B2 English
- Grads
- Sales-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify customer needs, recommend relevant options, and contribute to revenue growth.
- Knowledge or experience related to cruises, itineraries, and travel products is highly beneficial.
- Good command of English; additional language skills are an advantage.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, contact center or service environment, with flexibility to work shifts as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills, reliability, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality, tourism, or related fields is a plus.
