Role Description The Mid-Level Animator & Video Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Qesm El Maadi. This role is responsible for developing and executing animated and video content that supports event concepts, marketing campaigns, and brand storytelling. Day-to-day tasks include creating motion graphics and character animation, directing video shoots and post-production, collaborating with creative and event teams to translate ideas into visual narratives, and preparing storyboards and animatics. The role also involves working with motion capture assets when needed, ensuring visual consistency across deliverables, and managing timelines to meet production schedules. The Animator & Video Director is expected to contribute ideas during creative development and maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout each project.
Qualifications
- * Strong animation skills, including 2D/3D Animation and Motion Graphics, with the ability to produce polished, event-ready content.
- Experience with Motion Capture workflows, including handling, cleaning, and integrating motion capture data into animated sequences.
- Proficiency in Storyboarding and visual storytelling to plan sequences and communicate concepts to creative and production teams.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with designers, producers, clients, and technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard animation and video tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro, Blender/Maya/Cinema 4D or equivalent).
- Demonstrated ability to direct video shoots and manage post-production processes, including editing, sound, and color adjustments.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Relevant education in Animation, Film, Media, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience creating content for events, live shows, or experiential environments is a plus.
