Role Description The Medical Advisor role at iGenetX is a full-time hybrid position based in Cairo, with the flexibility to perform some responsibilities from home. The Medical Advisor will provide medical and scientific guidance on genetic testing and precision wellness services, supporting physicians, clients, and internal teams with clear, evidence-based recommendations. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing medical and genetic data, contributing to clinical protocols and reports, and supporting medical education initiatives for healthcare partners and internal staff. The role also involves collaborating with market access and commercial teams to ensure that medical messaging is accurate, ethical, and aligned with regulatory standards, as well as participating in research activities, scientific reviews, and continuous improvement of clinical services.
Qualifications
Medical
- backgroundand experience in clinical practice or clinical advisory work.
- Expertise in medical review, scientific communication, and cross-functional collaboration with commercial and operational teams.
- Experience in Medical Education, such as developing and delivering training materials, presentations, and clinical guidance for healthcare professionals.
- Background in Research, including literature review, data interpretation, and contribution to clinical or scientific projects.
- Understanding of Market Access, with the ability to support value propositions, health economics discussions, and reimbursement-related activities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with attention to detail and commitment to evidence-based practice.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup, manage time independently, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Prior experience in genetics, laboratory medicine, or precision wellness is highly desirable.
