Role Description The Junior General Accountant role at Rosalte is a full-time, on-site position based in Qesm El Sheikh Zaid. This role is responsible for assisting with daily accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and supporting month-end closing activities. The Junior General Accountant will help prepare basic financial reports, reconcile accounts, monitor expenses, and support inventory-related accounting for snacks, beverages, and other goods. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams, ensuring documentation accuracy, and following company accounting policies and relevant standards. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining organized financial records and supporting the finance team in improving processes and controls.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger processes, and basic financial reporting.
- Proficiency in English with clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to use accounting software and spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel or similar) for data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work on-site in Qesm El Sheikh Zaid and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant academic background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred).
- Previous internship or entry-level experience in accounting or retail/consumer goods is an advantage.
